In the early morning hours of March 9, 2024, a dispute inside a Kansas City home escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the life of 29-year-old Steven R. Mentzer. The male victim was at his residence in the 7300 block of Park Road, a home he shared with a co-worker and his boss, when the incident occurred.
