On March 9, 2024, 36-year-old Chelsea Lee Case was tragically shot and killed in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood, just north of The Grove entertainment district. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 1 a.m. and found a 42-year-old man, identified as Harris Kratzer, with a gunshot wound to the chest on the sidewalk at Arco and South Newstead avenues.
