On April 6, 2024, the body of 28-year-old Christopher Dylan Vinson was discovered partially submerged in water off County Road 203 in rural Mississippi County, Missouri. Authorities determined that Vinson had died from gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder, and he had last been seen alive on April 1.
