On April 6, 2024, 24-year-old Ashanti Jamia Taylor was fatally shot in St. Louis County, Missouri. According to reports, she was traveling in a vehicle with her boyfriend, Vaughn Spivey, when an argument ensued. During the dispute, Spivey allegedly drew a firearm and shot Taylor in the chest.
