On the morning of July 30, 2019, tragedy struck in Pagedale, Missouri, a community within St. Louis County. Delores Kirk, a 58-year-old female, had just returned to her home near St. Charles Rock Road and Engelholm Avenue after finishing a work shift. Inside the residence she shared with her boyfriend, a domestic dispute reportedly erupted between the couple. Family members present in the home later described hearing an argument that escalated into violence around 6:30 a.m.
