In the summer of 2022, a promising life was tragically cut short in Saint-Louis, Missouri. Brittney Young, a 31-year-old female, was fatally shot on the evening of June 18th in the Carr Square neighborhood. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. near a large apartment complex in the 1400 block of Cochran Place. Young sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was privately transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
