In the early hours of May 11, 2024, Kansas City, Missouri, police responded to reports of a disturbance involving a weapon near 12th Street and Benton Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found 27-year-old Zachary H. Trivitt unresponsive inside a vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
