On June 30, 2024, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Kansas City police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of 12th and Grand in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Dominick Turner suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.
