On August 21, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri, 31-year-old Brandon Scott Branham was found deceased near the intersection of 19th Street and Troost Avenue. Responding to a 911 call shortly after 9 a.m., police officers discovered Branham with apparent bodily trauma; emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. Subsequent investigations determined that he had suffered a fatal gunshot wound, leading authorities to classify the case as a homicide.
