In the early evening of January 24, 2023, the life of Boubacar Doukoure, a 29-year-old Black male from Jersey City, was tragically cut short in a parking lot on the 100 block of Clinton Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. At approximately 5:28 p.m., Newark police responded to a report of a shooting and discovered Doukoure unresponsive at the scene. He was pronounced dead less than an hour later, at 6:02 p.m.
