On January 24, 2023, at approximately 5:28 p.m., Newark police responded to reports of a shooting on the 100 block of Clinton Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 29-year-old Jersey City resident, Boubacar Doukoure, unresponsive in a parking lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:02 p.m.
