On a summer evening in Newark, New Jersey, the life of 20-year-old Jermaine Gamble was cut short by gunfire. On Friday, June 6, 2014, in the 200 block of South 8th Street, Gamble was shot and fatally wounded. The incident, which also left a female victim injured, unfolded around 4:50 p.m.
