In a tragic act of violence on an April evening in Newark, New Jersey, 21-year-old Quamir Harmon's life was cut short. On April 25, 2018, Quamir, a Black male, and his younger brother, 20-year-old Quan Harmon, were shot in the 900 block of Bergen Street. The incident occurred at approximately 9:26 p.m., after which both brothers were rushed to University Hospital for medical attention.
