On February 11, 2023, 45-year-old Keni Johnson was fatally shot at the Bradley Court Housing Complex in Newark, New Jersey. The incident occurred following an argument between Johnson and his friend, William Whitfield, aged 46. After the dispute, Whitfield retrieved a firearm from his apartment and returned to shoot Johnson in the back of the neck, resulting in his immediate death.
