On February 22, 2023, at approximately 3:05 a.m., Gloucester Township Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in the 800 block of North Black Horse Pike. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Tarik Green of Millville, New Jersey, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Jefferson Hospital in Stratford, where he was pronounced dead at 4:43 a.m.
