Jody Christopher Spence, a 31-year-old Black man, was fatally shot on the evening of October 6, 2023. The incident occurred at approximately 10:24 p.m. outside the Wheels of Soul Motorcycle Club, located on the 800 block of Princess Avenue in Camden, New Jersey. For five days, the whereabouts of Spence were unknown to his loved ones, creating a period of agonizing uncertainty.
