On a spring afternoon in Camden, New Jersey, the life of 28-year-old William Shipp was tragically cut short. On Saturday, March 31, 2007, while standing on a porch in the 1100 block of Sheridan Street, Shipp was shot twice in the stomach at approximately 1:45 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Shipp was a male resident of Warsaw Street in Camden.
