In the fading light of a Friday evening in Camden, New Jersey, the life of 33-year-old Akeem Jenkins was tragically cut short. On October 27, 2023, what might have been a typical night took a devastating turn. At approximately 8:00 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the peace on the 2800 block of Hull Road. When the echoes of the shots subsided, Jenkins and a 32-year-old woman were left suffering from gunshot wounds.
