In the early morning hours of October 3, 2021, the life of 30-year-old Daniel Rios, a Hispanic male, was brought to a tragic and violent end in Camden, New Jersey. The incident unfolded within the confines of the Northgate I apartment building, located on North 7th Street near the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. It was there, in a hallway, that Rios was discovered after police responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 6:05 a.m. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
