On the night of July 31, 2026, the life of 35-year-old Edgar Velasco-Hernandez was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Camden, New Jersey. The incident unfolded in the 100 block of North 24th Street, where city police officers responded to a report of a person shot at approximately 9:50 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Velasco-Hernandez suffering from gunshot wounds.
