In the early morning hours of November 1, 2023, a tragedy unfolded at the Days Inn hotel in Runnemede, New Jersey, that ended the life of 30-year-old Ivy Morris. A female, she was discovered by police inside the hotel suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, she was pronounced deceased at the scene. The events that led to the discovery began around 1:48 a.m. when Runnemede Police responded to reports of both a shooting and a carjacking at the hotel.
