In the early afternoon of October 6, 2017, the North 25 housing complex in Trenton, New Jersey, was shattered by gunfire that ended the life of 58-year-old Wilma Rutledge. A Black female resident of Carver Lane, she was tragically caught in the crossfire of a shooting that also wounded a 14-year-old girl.
