In the summer of 1996, the city of Trenton, New Jersey, was gripped by a series of tragic events that would later be attributed to the actions of a serial killer. Among the victims was Deborah Ann Walker, a 37-year-old African American woman. Her life was cut short on July 29, 1996, when her body was discovered in a vacant lot. The grim discovery was made by a neighbor in the vicinity of the home of a man named Anthony Balaam.
