In the late summer of 1972, the community of Springfield, New Jersey, was shaken by the mysterious death of 16-year-old Jeannette DePalma. On August 7th, the teenager left her home with the intention of taking a train to a friend's house, a journey from which she would never return. When she failed to arrive, her concerned parents filed a missing person's report, initiating a search that would end in tragedy six weeks later.
