On October 26, 2024, 41-year-old Bonnie N. Hitchens, affectionately known as "Bon-Bon," was fatally shot in Millville, New Jersey. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of a convenience store on East Green Street, where she was found unresponsive in the passenger seat of a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A 32-year-old man in the driver's seat, identified as her long-time boyfriend, was also shot multiple times but survived.
