On January 13, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Newport News, Virginia, involving Stephanie Michelle Thompson, age 40, and James Aaron Thompson, age 42. The couple was found dead inside their home in the 5200 block of Arlington Avenue during a welfare check conducted by local authorities.
