Tiara Jefferson, a 20-year-old woman from Newport News, Virginia, tragically lost her life on May 10, 2018, in a double shooting incident. Tiara, who was 15 weeks pregnant at the time, was driving near 27th Street and Madison Avenue when she was shot in the chest. Her boyfriend, who was also in the car, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while her one-year-old daughter, Ava, was unharmed.
