Shaun Michael Hankins II, a 21-year-old male, was killed on April 24, 2023, in Petersburg, Virginia. His death was the result of a shooting. The incident occurred behind St. Paul's Baptist Church, where his body was discovered just before 2 a.m. He had been shot in the head and was unarmed at the time of the incident. His mother has stated that she believes he was set up by someone he trusted.
