In the spring of 2023, the life of Jonathan Johnson Jr., a 25-year-old man from Norfolk, Virginia, was tragically cut short. On the evening of May 6th, Johnson was in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven located in the 500 block of Aberdeen Road in Hampton. He was accompanied by another 25-year-old Norfolk man, Keshawn Hawkins. It was in this ordinary setting that violence erupted, forever altering the lives of their families.
