A joyous celebration turned into a scene of chaos and tragedy in Richmond, Virginia, when 18-year-old Shawn Jackson was shot and killed just moments after his Huguenot High School graduation ceremony. The male victim had just received his diploma and was with his family in a nearby park when gunfire erupted. His father, Lorenzo Smith, who was 36 years old, was also killed in the shooting. Five other people were wounded during the incident.
