In the late summer of 2017, the life of 38-year-old Leonard S. Carr was tragically cut short in a burst of gun violence in south Richmond, Virginia. On the evening of Sunday, September 3rd, police were called to the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard, a residential area, where they found Carr suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
