On June 29, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Portsmouth, Virginia, resulting in the death of James Rockett III, a 41-year-old man. The shooting took place in the 600 block of Dunedin Road, near the intersection of City Park Avenue and Portsmouth Boulevard.
