In the early morning hours of July 16, 2023, a gathering outside a 7-Eleven on West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, Virginia, turned deadly. Amidst a large and disorderly crowd, shots rang out, leaving 27-year-old Jahleel Angus, a male from Yorktown, with a fatal gunshot wound.
