Tahesha L. Saunders, a 35-year-old mother from Newport News, Virginia, tragically lost her life on August 3, 2023. Police responded to a call on 33rd Street, where they found Saunders outside a home suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The incident was initially described as a domestic-related shooting.
