A sense of normalcy was shattered on the night of Friday, September 29, 2023, in a Henrico County neighborhood near Richmond, Virginia. Roscoe Lee Anderson, III, a 30-year-old Black/African American man, was fatally shot in the 4100 block of Townhouse Road. The Henrico County Police Division received a call about the shooting at approximately 10:02 p.m. and arrived to find Anderson in the street with apparent gunshot wounds.
