On a cold January evening, the life of 24-year-old Desire Alexandria Buggs of Woodbridge was cut short by a fatal gunshot wound. The tragic events unfolded on January 6, 2024, in the vicinity of Possum Point Road and Leonard Street in Dumfries, Virginia. It was her own husband, 24-year-old Daniel Okoe Lawson, who drove her to a local hospital where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
