On January 4, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Dumfries, Virginia, resulting in the death of 3-year-old Journee Javiah Carroll-Ward. The young girl was one of five victims in a quintuple shooting that took place in the 17900 block of Milroy Drive.

The shooting, which happened before noon, left Journee dead at the scene and four other victims, ranging in age from 14 to 17, with life-threatening injuries. The injured teenagers were immediately transported to hospitals for treatment. Am ...Read More
