On February 26, 2024, at approximately 12:06 a.m., Henrico Police responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of Lakeside Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old Aidan Christopher Cameron in a yard behind an apartment building, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Cameron was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later that morning.
