On the morning of March 8, 2024, a road rage incident in Chesapeake, Virginia, tragically ended the life of 51-year-old Derrick Knight, a Black male. The fatal confrontation occurred at approximately 5:40 a.m. near the intersection of South Military Highway and Canal Drive. Responding officers discovered Knight in the roadway, where he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.
