In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Lynchburg, Virginia, the life of 37-year-old Tajuan Obrian 'Brian' Johnson, a male resident of the city, was tragically cut short. On April 14, 2024, gunfire erupted in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Main Street, leaving a scene of violence that would ultimately claim Johnson's life and injure another.
Lynchburg Police Department officers responded to the call shortly after 2 a.m. and discovered two male victims. One was located on Main Street, and the other was found a block away on 12th Street. Both men were suffering from gunshot wounds and were transported to Lynchburg General Hospital for medical attention.
