In the winter of 2020, the life of 29-year-old Wendell Scott Morris was cut short in Lynchburg, Virginia. On the evening of December 7th, officers responded to reports of gunfire at the James Crossing Apartments. There, they found Morris suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
