Wendell Scott Morris, a 29-year-old resident of Lynchburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life on December 7, 2020. The incident occurred at the James Crossing Apartments, located in the 800 block of Greenfield Drive. On that fateful day, Lynchburg police responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 4:06 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Morris with a gunshot wound.
