Scottie Jerome Humbles, a 47-year-old resident of Lynchburg, Virginia, tragically passed away on April 20, 2021. Humbles was found with two gunshot wounds to his head at the James Crossing Apartments on Greenfield Drive. Despite life-saving efforts by responding officers, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Humbles was known for his kind and gentle nature, often bringing smiles to those around him. He was deeply involved in his community and church, serving diligently for many years.
