On June 27, 2024, at approximately 1:44 a.m., Portsmouth Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of Talley Circle. Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Quashawn D. Perry suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
