In the early morning hours of June 27, 2024, the life of 25-year-old Quashawn D. Perry, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Portsmouth, Virginia. At approximately 1:44 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting in the 1400 block of Talley Circle. Upon arrival, officers discovered Perry suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
