In the early morning hours of November 2, 2024, a violent encounter in Norfolk, Virginia, claimed the life of 37-year-old Micah L. Bell, a Black male from Portsmouth. The incident unfolded around 5:50 a.m., when police were called to a Wawa convenience store in the 900 block of E. Little Creek Road. There, they discovered Bell suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
