On November 2, 2024, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Norfolk police responded to a shooting incident at the Wawa located at 975 E Little Creek Road. Upon arrival, officers found Micah L. Bell, a 37-year-old resident of Portsmouth, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Bell was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
