Death by Force

On March 2, 2023, shortly after midnight, Marion police responded to a report of an individual lying unresponsive in a yard on the 800 block of Bluff Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old James "Pooh" Edward Cross Jr., who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
