Death by Force

On March 7, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers from the Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to a reported shooting at 1404 Woodbine Road in Aiken, South Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 70-year-old Ruth Ann Whitaker deceased from a gunshot wound inside her residence. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
