Ny'Asia Makayla Dowling, a 25-year-old woman from Aiken, South Carolina, was found shot to death in a motel room at the American Hearth Inn on January 20, 2025. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire and discovered her body inside the room. She had been shot at least once.
