In the early morning hours of January 20, 2025, the life of 25-year-old Nyasia Dowling was tragically cut short in a room at the American Hearth Inn on Richland Avenue West in Aiken, South Carolina. Authorities responded to reports of shots fired at the motel around 4:41 a.m. and discovered Ms. Dowling deceased, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
