A tragic and violent confrontation in the parking lot of an Aiken, South Carolina gas station on January 15, 2024, ended the life of 43-year-old Tiffany Britt. The female victim was fatally shot by her husband, 55-year-old George Britt, in what law enforcement has described as a murder-suicide. The couple, who were residents of Augusta, Georgia, were reportedly involved in a domestic dispute in the moments leading up to the deadly encounter.
