In the quiet town of Bethune, South Carolina, a tragic story unfolded on the evening of March 29, 2023, ending the life of 20-year-old Jordan Privette. A young mother of two, Privette was fatally shot in a home on Wateree Grove Lane. When Kershaw County sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene around 8:30 p.m., they discovered both Privette and a man, later identified as 21-year-old Robert Matthew Griffin Jr., with gunshot wounds.
