Jakia Seegars, a 21-year-old woman from Pageland, South Carolina, was tragically found dead on May 10, 2019. She was one of two women discovered shot to death outside a home on North Arant Street in Pageland. The other victim was identified as Brittany Nicholson, aged 23. The Chesterfield County Sheriff, James Dixon, reported that one of the women was found on the ground, while the other was inside a car.
