In the spring of 2023, the life of a young man was tragically cut short on the streets of North Charleston, South Carolina. Eighteen-year-old Tyrell Brown, a Black male, was fatally shot on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. The incident that claimed Brown's life unfolded on Parana Street in the city.
